RawMaterials Academy – trainings, workshops, meetings

RawMaterials Academy was initiated by EIT RawMaterials, the most important undertaking of the European Innovation Partnership for non-energy raw materials (EIP RM), whose action plan is to preserve the security of raw materials in Europe.

The innovative educational projects are conducted as part of the Academy, which are addressed to doctoral students, students, industrial partners, specialists from the raw materials sector and a broad society. Training, workshops and conferences support new ways of teaching by linking academia environment, research organizations and industry

The goals of the RawMaterials Academy are:

  • Raising public awareness of the importance and use of raw materials
  • Raising interest in topics related to raw materials
  • Training of current and future stakeholders on the technical standards currently required by the primary industry
  • Supporting entrepreneurship and innovation, knowledge and attitudes needed for entrepreneurs

The expected impact of the project is based on:

  • Development of new innovative technologies and their commercialization on the EU and global market
  • The creation of new SMEs
  • Adaptation of education to the requirements of industry and the labour market and development of entrepreneurship among students and graduates of universities
