New COVID-19 test point
On April 9, Łukasiewicz – PORT launched another COVID-19 test point. It arose in a great location at Mazowiecka Street in the center of Wrocław, operates seven days a week, and is intended primarily for patients with referrals from the National Health Fund.
The new test point is an effect of the cooperation with the Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesia Voivodship and the National Health Fund. It situates in the Marshal’s Office’s parking lot at Mazowiecka Street. It is open every day, also on weekends. The point is intended primarily for patients with referrals for tests reimbursed by the National Health Fund. Private tests are also possible, depending on the availability of places.
The new point has a walk-thru formula, which means you can come to it on foot. We collect swabs for SARS-CoV-2 tests between 8.00 and noon.
Note: the previous two drive-thru points run by Łukasiewicz – PORT:
- on the premises of the Pracze Campus (entrance from Pracka Street),
- at the Wrocław Airport at Graniczna 190 Street (car park B in front of the terminal)
they work unchanged. They only collect swabs for private examinations. Patients can benefit from attractive prices and special offers, including packages for families and groups.
Łukasiewicz – PORT engages in the fight against the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic for many months. We are running a diagnostic laboratory, drive-thru test points, and a vaccination point. Our experience, modern laboratory facilities, and a team of qualified diagnosticians and laboratory technicians allowed us to start cooperating with the National Health Fund.
In our laboratory, we make molecular tests using the RT-qPCR method. They are recommended by the WHO and the National Health Fund because they give the most reliable results whether a virus is present in the patient’s body at a given moment. COVID LAB in Łukasiewicz – PORT is on the Ministry of Health’s list.
