The Łukasiewicz Research Network was established on April 1, 2019, as part of the government’s Strategy for Responsible Development. It consists of over 30 scientific and research institutes from all over Poland. One of them is PORT – Polish Center for Technology Development from Wrocław.
– Activity of the Łukasiewicz – PORT perfectly fits the idea of ”Science is Business” which defines the essence of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – says Andrzej Dybczyński Ph.D., director of Łukasiewicz – PORT Polish Center for Technology Development. – Our common goal is to support Polish entrepreneurs by providing them with competitive technological solutions and build a bridge between science and business. Participation in a nationwide network lets us profit from the synergy effect. We learn from the experiences of other institutes and support them with our competence at the same time – he adds.
The Łukasiewicz Research Network represents the part of the scientific community that works to promote business and supports the development of Polish companies. The Research Groups operating within its framework combine experts from various Institutes specializing in such fields of science as biotechnology, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, electronics, electrical engineering, materials engineering, precision mechanics, metallurgy, optics, and aviation.
